Case Study #1:

Customer Profile:  A very large, multi-national broker in the vacation rental space which had recently been acquired.

Problem Outline:  Complexities included a very large, extremely experienced IT organization that had "over-engineeered" their current environment to the point that it was dramatically affecting their ability to deliver solutions on a timely basis.  The systems architecture had become convoluted and in some cases duplicated across business lines.  Business operations supported by these solutions had become overly complicated.  Relationships between IT and the business had become strained as the business was moving forward faster than IT could support them.

Strategy Approach:  Performed 10-week technology and operations evaluation. Project included a review of the entire order-to-cash process with both the technology and business stakeholders.

Results:  Final report included a detailed overview of the current environment along with identification of alternative solution options and recommendations for consolidation of data processing. Designed improved operational flows and identified key change management challenges (in both the business and IT) and presented a comprehensive phasing strategy to move forward.
